NECROTIC HERPES ZOSTER IN THE ULNAR NERVE DISTRIBUTION: A CASE REPORT
Resumo
Herpes Zoster is an infectious disease that causes an intense pain and the formation of blisters, occurs more frequently in the chest, abdomen and face. It is caused by the varicella-zoster virus, which in the first contact with the organism that infects, causes chickenpox, the virus remains dormant in the dorsal root ganglia, until it is reactivated due to moments of immunosuppression and lead to Herpes Zoster. The patient who will be presented in our article presented a case of herpes zoster from the ulnar nerve, affecting the upper limb, as it is a more rare occurrence and due to the association with necrotic lesions, this report was made.
